Dr. Friedman earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and doctorate in dentistry from Columbia University. While at Columbia, she was selected as a member in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society and received an award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for outstanding achievement academically and clinically in implant dentistry.

Dr. Friedman completed a three-year residency in Periodontics through a joint program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New York City and NYU. Over three years, she routinely performed complex surgical procedures and successfully placed hundreds of dental implants. During her residency, she presented at several national conferences on the use of bio-modulators in sinus grafting surgery.

In early 2013, Dr. Friedman became an associate in the practice of Steven Kaufman. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, ITI, the DC Dental Society and the American Dental Association. She is also participates in Spear Study Club

A native of New York, Dr. Friedman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
